I went home this past weekend. And it was good, so good — now that I've gone back to school, I sometimes forget about my semester at home, but the visit reminded me of how much I love being there, tucked away in my safe haven:
The best part, though, was this: For the very first time, I didn't feel like crying on the drive to Champaign on Monday. I actually wanted to come back to campus, to Stratford, to the place is becoming a second home.
Lord, thank You for bringing me here.

Dear Melanie,
You have a beautiful home! I know the feeling of being back home again when you've been away. I'm glad you had a wonderful time, and didn't feel like crying on the drive back to school.
May the Lord continues to shine upon you!
Blessings,
