two is better than one

...Especially when it comes to snow days.

I was sitting in my friend's basement yesterday afternoon when I got a text from another friend: "School is CANCELLED tomorrow!!!!!" I didn't believe it. How could I? Our district is known for being open during catastrophes. We never get snow days. But a DOUBLE snow day? It was too good to be true. Quickly, I pulled up our school's website on my phone. And there it was, in red letters:

UPDATE
Due to weather conditions school will NOT be in session on Thursday, February 3rd, and all after school activities & athletic events are cancelled.

I almost peed my pants.

So now it's Day Two of the snowpocalypse and I haven't been home in 2 days. I've been transitioning from friend's house to friend's house, living out of my backpack and traveling with my Snuggie. I love it. I love double snow days. But more than anything else, I love good company and good food and good snow.
